HIRING FAQ

  • Applications are done online through McHire. If you can work at multiple locations, please apply at each location you're interested in separately. Our website lists openings for DCC LEE Enterprises only. For others, visit careers.mcdonalds.com.

  • The hiring manager at each store you applied to will contact you to schedule an interview by phone or in person. You'll be notified of the hiring decision either at the interview or within 1-3 days via email.

  • Phone interviews don't require any documentation. In-person interviews require two IDs: a photo ID (license, state ID, school ID) and proof of birth/Social Security number (birth certificate, Social Security card, passport).   • You will either be offered the position at the interview or receive an email notification within 1-3 days.

  • If you worked at another McDonald's within the last 6 months (not with DCC LEE Enterprises), be prepared to share the previous store address, phone number, EID, and general manager’s name.

  • After you've been selected for a position, you'll receive a job offer via email through McHire. Once you accept the offer, you'll be provided with a link to complete your online paperwork. We'll then contact you with further instructions, including your start date and training schedule. On your first day, you'll participate in an in-person  orientation, pick up your uniform and begin in-restaurant training.

  • Please note that facial piercings and tongue rings must be removed while at work. Facial hair is not allowed; employees must be clean-shaven with sideburns at earlobe level or higher. Mustaches are acceptable. Tattoos may need to be covered depending on the general manager's discretion. We ask that you cover any tattoos that may be considered offensive.
